Seminar on Gaming by RZ2--Dont miss it..!!!


Click Has planned to organize a seminar on "Gaming technology" at 2pm in SHIEIT seminar Hall on 31st march 2008.The seminar will be conducted by Mr.Aanthony Whitaker.

Mr.Aanthony Whitaker serves as the Technical Director. Anthony is a technical visionary who served on the technical teams that developed titles such as X-Men Legends, Star Wars: Jedi Knight, Doom 3 and Quake IV. Anthony works diligently to maximize the potential of technical operations and oversees research and development to ensure that RZ2's titles will be leading competitors in the next generation and mobile gaming markets.

RZ2 Games is comprised of a very talented and extremely successful group of game developers from around the world. Together we have the combined experience of having produced over 100 video games (major franchises such as NFL GameDay, ESPN Xtreme Sports, Doom, Quake, Wolfenstein, Spyro the Dragon, Battlefield 2, Forza Racing and EA's NHL Hockey).

RZ2 gamer team recently launched a new mobile game,Jalsa! The hottest new mobile game based on the upcoming Jalsa movie was launched Saturday, March 22nd in Hotel Novotel, Hyderabad. Chris Whaley,the president of RZ2 gaming  attended along with Allu Arvind, Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish, Sashi Reddi, Tammareddy Bharadwaja and over 100 members of the press attended the event. M

A talk on Computer Animation & Communication Skills



Last week`s seminar on communication skills and computer animation was a grand success. Prof. Dr. Les Menezes, was the resource person. Undoubtedly, he gave his best to enlighten the students with his words.

He is currently working with Sharukh Khan for the upcoming movie BHOOTNATH.

His profile talks everything about him. Mr. Menezes, is a extremely jovial and nice person with lot of creativity and experience.

Welcome to the world of CLICK

thats all it takes...

Click, an association of computer students in SRIEIT inaugurated at the hands of Dr. V.V. KAMAT from Goa University on 4th march 2008.

The association will coordinate and stage various activities for the students of college.

Goals and Objectives:

• Keeping in mind the interest of the students, CLICK will work towards, making the right profession an area of choice amongst all students in SRIEIT.
• Will prepare students to be qualified and capable of functioning as professional computer scientists in the workplace in future.
• Will broadly educate students to enrich their life experiences & enhance computer knowledge.
• Provide students with the ability to perform analysis, specification, design and implementation of quality computer solutions.
• Develop students with theoretical computer science backgrounds and the mathematical and analytical maturity necessary to allow them to adapt to changing requirements in the job market or enter graduate programs in computer science.
• Instill within students the technical, communicative, and character skills that will prepare them for leadership roles.
• Empower students with the knowledge and basic foundation necessary to make ethical and responsible choices.



Activities:

• To fulfill this objective, the CLICK will regularly organize conferences, conventions, guest lectures, workshops, seminars, competitions like quiz, paper presentation and give away various prizes and awards.
• The association will ensure that regular training and skill updating are organized for the students.
• The association will also work towards a global approach, by seeking out alliances with other related organizations that may be willing to come forward and participate in such activities.
• Association will also help college in formulating IT strategy & planning.

Code of ethics for CLICK members:



A member of an association of computer students in RIEIT (CLICK) shall:

• Organize the resources available to him and optimize these in attaining the objectives of the association.
• Not misuse his authority or office for personal gains.
• Comply with the college laws relating to the management of his association and operate within the spirit of these laws.
• Conduct his affairs so as to uphold, project and further the image and reputation of the CLICK.
• Maintain integrity in research and publications.
• Act with integrity in carrying out the lawful policy and instructions of the association and uphold its image and reputation.
• Plan, establish and review objectives and tasks for himself and his subordinates which are compatible with the Codes of Practice of other members in the association, and direct all available effort towards the success of the association rather than of himself.
• Fully respect the confidentiality of information which comes to him in the course of his duties, and not use confidential information for personal gain or in a manner which may be detrimental to this association.
• In his contacts and dealings with other members, demonstrate his personal integrity and humanity and when called to give an opinion in his professional capacity, shall, to the best of his ability, give an opinion that is objective and reliable.


As regards to the COMMITTEE MEMBER, CLICK member should:

• Set an example to his subordinates through his own work and performance, through his leadership and by taking account of the needs and problems of his subordinates.
• Pay proper regard to the safety and well being of the personnel for whom he is responsible.
• Share his experience with fellow professionals.
• Be objective and impartial when giving independent advice.


As regards to the COMMUNITY, CLICK member should:

• Make the most effective use of all natural resources employed.
• Be ready to give professional assistance in community affairs.
• Not appropriate other people's intellectual output.
• Always use a computer in ways that ensure consideration and respect for fellow members.
